About APRM 2017

Who can attend The 4th Asia Pacific Regional Meeting in Indonesia?
The APRM 2017 will be attended by the representatives of International Forestry Students’ Association Local Committee member throughout Asia Pacific Region. This event can also be attended by public applicants who intend to join this event and meet all the requirements.

What will the participants do during the event?
During the event, there will be forestry-related public lectures. All delegates will do the academic presentation and discussions. They will also be invited to exciting field trip in various ecological attractions and arranging the cultural performances.

How many person for each LC can apply for this event?
One paper can only be authored by a maximum of 4 persons. Therefore if you want to send 5 delegations, you need to make 2 papers. There are no maximum limitations on delegations from a LC.

How to be the delegates for APRM 2017?
All participants must be registered to apply for delegation. They will also need to submit your paper based on the given themes. Not to forget, to complete your fee payment as well as you can find on our page. Click here

How much does it cost to join this event?

The payment for APRM 2017 has been fixed according to country classification. You can find the country by Click here

Payment on the due date of March 29th 2017 :

  • Low income country      : USD 240
  • Middle income country : USD 250
  • High income country     : USD 270

Payment before due date of March 29th 2017 :

  • Low income country      : USD 220
  • Middle income country : USD 230
  • High income country     : USD 250

Payment Procedures

How is the payment procedure?
This processing procedure is to be followed to fee payment :

  • Program payment can be requisitioned by transfer through any local Bank in your country. Payment of the foreign currency should be made converting to US dollar equivalent (refer to Exchange Rates)

What should I do after completing the payment?
To ensure you have finished the payment succesfully, you need to send the picture of payment proof to our email with the following informations :

  • Name, address, amount, account number, bank of origin
  • Name of LC and country of origin
  • Send the confirmation message in subject: APRM2017_LC_Country_BankofOrigin
  • Once we received your message on email, we will send you an invoice message within 24 hours.

Public applicants

Who are the public participants in this event?
Public applicants are those who intend to join the APRM 2017 in Indonesia and meet all the requirements to be participant for this event.

What will the public participants do during the event?
During the event, there will be forestry-related public lectures. They will be invited to exciting field trips in various ecological attractions and arrange the multicultural performances, there will be no presentation for public participants.

How the pubic participants can attend this event?
To join this event, participant must be registered and submit the abstract based on the given themes. Not to forget, to complete the fee payment as you can find on our page.

IFSA Official

Who are the IFSA Official?
IFSA Official are the representatives of IFSA world who join the APRM 2017 in Indonesia.

What will they do?
They will do all activities in APRM 2017 such as; attending public lectures, field trips, workshop, and cultural night, except for the paper presentations.

How can they attend the event?
They must have registered and complete the fee payment of APRM 2017.

Invitation Letter

What is Invitation Letter?
Invitation Letter is a formal letter that will be given to the delegates of APRM 2017 once they have been registered to be the delegates on this event.

How can I get one?
Once you have registered on our page and meet all the requirements, you will be notified by our Official Committee that you have been applying for this event. If you haven’t received one since you have registered yourself, please contact us on e-mail: aprmipb@gmail.com

Who can get the Invitation Letter?
Applicants who will get the Invitation Letter are those who eligible based on all requirements to be delegation.

When will I get it?
You will receive this letter after you have been registered for this event (only for delegates and the representatives of IFSA World) and after the announcement (for public participants).

Paper Presentation

Will there be any paper presentations on this event?
There will be an academic presentation and discussion for all delegates based on the topics Click here.

What should I prepare for the presentations?
You should prepare for the presentation by making your interactive powerpoint based on your topic. Make sure you make it attractive. Good luck!

Do the committee provide any fund?
Official Committee do not provide any fund for delegation of APRM 2017.

Do I need Visa to visit Indonesia?
It depends on the country you are from, based on the rules of Embassy of Republic Indonesia and country of origin.

What kind of facilities the participants will get during this event?

All participants of APRM 2017 will be facilitated :

How if I come to Indonesia before the event begin?
You can come and visit Indonesia before the due date of APRM 2017 but all the facilities will be served on the due date. But if you have planned to travel around Indonesia, we recommend you to take the journey after the event. Don’t worry, our committee will help to assist your travel in Indonesia.
