Bogor Agricultural University
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) was established in 1963 and based in the city of Bogor, West Java Indonesia. The university consists of 9 faculties which majors to the field of agriculture, forestry, marine, bioscience and various related sciences.
Global Landscape Forum (GLF)
The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) is the world’s largest and only science-led multi-sectoral platform designed to produce and disseminate knowledge and accelerate action to build more resilient, climate friendly, diverse, equitable and productive landscapes. The GLF platforms connects diverse stakeholders; provides learning opportunities; gathers and shares knowledge; and accelerates action to produce positive, sustainable impact. This year GLF will be held in Jakarta on May 18th 2017 with the theme “Peatlands Matter”.
Bogor Botanical Garden
The Largest Botanical Garden located in the heart of Bogor City, West Java Indonesia. Bogor Botanical Garden has served as a major research center for agriculture and is the oldest botanical garden in southeast asia within 87 hectares area and 15,000 species of trees and plants collection.
Gunung Walat University Forest
GWUF is an educational forest area for research or study purposes covering 359 ha. As an educational forest and training, GWUF is managed by the Faculty of Forestry. GWEF itself has now developed into a small-scale forest management model independently and based sustainable management of timber forest products and environmental services.
Cultural Village Sindang Barang
The oldest village in the district of Bogor. This village is well known as Bogor Sundanese Culture. The village was began a long time ago and still prosperously exist to this day. It has eight kinds of Sundanese arts and cultures that have been revitalized and preserved by the local people.
